Quality Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Run first-article inspections, PPAP, and other customer-required quality documentation.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and corrective action on non-conformances.
  • Support supplier quality: inspection plans, incoming audits, and qualification.
  • Own calibration, gage control, and measurement system analysis.
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits as Remetheus progresses through ISO 9001, Enhanced JCP, CMMC, and AS9100.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of quality engineering experience in precision manufacturing.
  • Fluency in GD&T, metrology, and statistical process control.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.
  • U.S. person status required for access to controlled technical data.
Preferred
  • Aerospace or defense supplier experience.
  • ASQ CQE certification or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with CMMC controls and their application on the shop floor.

Staff Engineer

  • Own process engineering for new programs: workholding, tooling strategy, and manufacturing plans.
  • Lead design-for-manufacturability reviews with customers and set feasibility expectations honestly.
  • Define and enforce programming and machining standards across the floor.
  • Drive technical problem-solving on the hardest builds and mentor the engineering and machinist teams.
  • Partner with quality to ensure processes are capable and repeatable before production.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in precision machining, ideally aerospace or defense.
  • Expert-level CAM programming and CAD fluency.
  • Deep understanding of multi-axis machining, fixturing, and tolerance stack-up.
  • U.S. person status required for access to controlled technical data.
Preferred
  • Experience with exotic alloys including Inconel, titanium, and precipitation-hardened stainless.
  • Five-axis and Swiss-turn expertise.
  • Prior leadership or coaching of engineering or machining teams.

Lead Machinist

  • Partner with engineering and quality to close the loop on process issues.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of program administration or contracts support in defense or federal work.
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS and how they shape day-to-day execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfort reading contracts carefully.
  • U.S. person status required.
Preferred
  • Prior experience at or with a defense prime or mid-tier integrator.
  • Familiarity with EVMS, Deltek, or similar program tools.
  • APMP, PMP, or equivalent certification.
Clearance

Active or recent Secret clearance a plus.

Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist

  • Source, qualify, and onboard domestic suppliers of raw materials, tooling, and specialty services.
  • Manage purchase orders, lead times, and supplier performance against program schedules.
  • Own supplier quality and compliance checks, including DFARS specialty-metals and Buy American provisions where they apply.
  • Run inventory strategy on critical materials: forecasting, safety stock, and lead-time buffers.
  • Help the company pass through DPAS, ITAR, and flow-down contract requirements cleanly.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience in precision manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of DFARS specialty-metals, Buy American, and domestic sourcing rules.
  • Hands-on procurement experience including RFQs, negotiations, and supplier performance management.
  • U.S. person status required.
Preferred
  • Defense or aerospace supplier experience, especially with Tier 1 prime flow-downs.
  • CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent certification.
  • Prior work sourcing exotic metals, castings, or precision mill products.
